Terms & Condition's
Important Notice: Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your booking.
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made with INBOXTICKETS. Please read them carefully, as they outline our respective rights and responsibilities. In these terms, “we” and “us” refer to INBOXTICKETS (the Company), while “you” and “your” refer to the person making the booking, as well as anyone else covered by the booking or anyone it is transferred to.
Your use of this website is subject to your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use this site.
With Inboxtickets, you have the flexibility to book various travel components with us, whether it's a complete holiday package (including accommodation, flights, and transfers) or just individual elements like accommodation or flights.
The terms and conditions for Inboxtickets are detailed below.
What Makes Inboxtickets The Right Choice?
Inboxtickets is part of a larger travel group, which allows us to use our strong connections with airlines and hotel providers around the world. This means we can offer you some of the best flight prices and hotel deals available.
Booking with Inboxtickets means you will get the cheapest price be it flights only or holiday packages including hotels. We offer the ‘best price guarantee’ to our customers.
When you make a reservation and choose to book flights, accommodation, or car hire, you confirm that you have the authority to accept and agree to the terms and conditions on behalf of all passengers. This also means you agree to the booking terms of any airline or service provider where Inboxtickets acts as an agent. We strongly recommend that you carefully review the terms and conditions related to all reservations and payments made through Inboxtickets, as detailed below.
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, whether you're booking a holiday package, flights, car hire, or just accommodation. Please read them carefully, or feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions or need clarification.
You can also purchase separate, individual elements from us (e.g. accommodation only or flight only). In these circumstances, we will always act as an agent on behalf of the supplier of the arrangements in question (“Supplier/Principal”).
Booking Arrangements:
The lead passenger or the person paying for the booking agrees to the following on behalf of everyone listed in the booking:
(a) They have read and agree to these Booking Conditions.
(b) They consent to our use of personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy and are authorized to share the personal details of everyone in the booking with us, including any special information like health conditions or dietary needs.
(c) They are over 18 years old at the time of booking and confirm that they and all other travelers meet any age requirements for the services being booked.
(d) They take responsibility for the payment of the booking for everyone listed.
Please note that all services are subject to availability and fares are only guaranteed once tickets are issued.
When you book, you need to pay the required deposit as specified. A contract is only formed once we accept your booking, receive your deposit or full payment, and send you a confirmation invoice, either from us or the supplier. Make sure the names provided match those in the relevant passports.
Once we receive your request and deposit, we will confirm your booking and send you details. Cancellation charges will apply from that point. Please be aware that a confirmation made over the phone is just as valid as one made in writing.
Booking Terms & Condition's:
Your booking may be subject to the following adjustments:
Minor Changes:
In the event that the airline or supplier makes a minor adjustment to your travel plans, we will endeavor to notify you as promptly as possible before your departure, provided there is sufficient time. However, we will not be held liable for such changes. Minor adjustments may include, but are not limited to:
Changes to your departure or return flights by less than 24 hours.
Alterations to the type of aircraft used.
Substitution of accommodation with another of equivalent or higher standard.
Changes in carriers.
Minor modifications to the services available at the hotel.
Please be aware that carriers, including airlines, may be subject to change.
Significant Changes:
In some cases, the airline or supplier may need to make a substantial alteration to your confirmed travel plans. Significant changes made before departure include:
A change in the area of accommodation for all or a major portion of your stay.
A change to your outward departure time or overall travel duration by more than 12 hours.
An alteration to accommodation that results in a lower standard or classification for all or a significant part of your stay.
A change in your departure airport outside of the following allowable airport groups:
London airports: Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, London City, and Southend
South Coast airports: Southampton, Bournemouth, and Exeter
South Western airports: Cardiff and Bristol
Midlands airports: Birmingham, East Midlands, and Doncaster Sheffield
Northern airports: Liverpool, Manchester, and Leeds Bradford
North Eastern airports: Newcastle and Teesside
Scottish airports: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Prestwick, and Aberdeen
A significant alteration to your itinerary, including the omission of one or more destinations entirely.
Options in Case of Significant Changes:
If the airline or supplier needs to make a significant change or cancel your travel arrangements, we will inform you as soon as possible. If there is adequate time before your departure, we will offer you the following options:
1. Accept the revised travel arrangements.
2. Receive a full refund of all payments made.
3. Opt for alternative travel arrangements of comparable or higher quality at no additional cost, if available.
4. If available, choose alternative travel arrangements of a lower standard and receive a refund for the difference in price between the original and the new arrangements.
You must notify us of your choice as soon as possible and within the timeframe specified. If we do not receive a response within this period, we will contact you again to request your decision. Failure to respond may result in us treating the booking as cancelled and processing a refund.
For any minor changes to your holiday arrangements, we will inform you as soon as we can.
Price Guarantee:
Once we receive full payment, the price will not increase. However, if transportation costs, exchange rates, government fees, or fuel costs go up, surcharges might be added. Scheduled airlines can change prices at any time, so the price listed on your confirmation invoice is only guaranteed if full payment is made. Paying a deposit doesn’t secure your seat or the price. Also, if the government imposes new taxes or fees, like VAT or fuel surcharges, our price guarantee won’t cover those changes.
Package Holidays:
Some of our holidays require a minimum number of participants. If we don't reach that number, we might have to cancel the tour and will refund any payments made. If the group size decreases, the price may go up.
Deposit/Balance Payments Terms & Condition's:
Deposits and Payments
Deposits:
Deposits are non-refundable for flights, hotels, or holiday packages. Your booking will only be confirmed once we’ve received the required deposit. Other then the deposit, your remaining balance is refundable if possible.
Note: The refund process typically takes 3-6 business weeks to complete.
Holiday Reservations:
If you book a holiday less than 10 weeks before departure, we may require immediate full payment. Otherwise, the remaining balance is due 10 weeks before your departure date, as stated on your confirmation invoice. Please note, we do not send reminders for this payment. If the balance isn’t paid by the due date, we may cancel your holiday, keep your deposit, and charge an additional £100 per passenger for late payment.
Full Payment at Booking:
If you pay the full amount at the time of booking, your deposit will be considered part of this payment.
Airfares and Prices:
Prices are subject to change. Airlines, accommodations, and government bodies can adjust fares, taxes, or prices at any time. Any additional costs will be your responsibility and must be paid when you make your final payment or before the ticket expires. To avoid extra charges, finalize your payment as soon as possible after booking.
Airport Taxes:
Some airports charge a departure tax that you will need to pay locally at the airport. These charges are not included in our quoted fares.
Modifying Your Arrangements:
If you want to make any changes to your booking (other than adding more people to your party) and we can accommodate the change, you’ll need to pay an Amendment Fee per person. The amount of this fee can vary, and we’ll let you know the exact cost when you make the change. Please make sure to confirm any changes in writing.
Occasionally, additional taxes may be required. We will inform you of any extra taxes before your tickets are issued.
Cancellation Terms & Condition’s:
If you or anyone in your group needs to cancel your holiday, please notify us in writing. The person who made the booking is responsible for any cancellation charges. In most cases, cancelling will result in losing the entire cost of your travel arrangements. For specific details, consult your reservation advisor.
Please note that charter flights have a 100% cancellation fee, whether before or after the ticket has been issued. Insurance premiums and airport taxes are non-refundable.
If you want to change your holiday or flight reservation after receiving your confirmation email or invoice, we’ll do our best to help. However, please be aware that 98% of suppliers, especially airlines, do not allow changes. Most tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.
Any changes made before you’ve paid the final amount will be considered amendments. Each change may incur a fee up to £75 per person, plus any additional costs from our suppliers, if the supplier’s policies allow the change.
If you cancel your arrangements, you will need to pay cancellation charges in addition to losing your deposit. This applies to holiday bookings, flight reservations, hotel bookings, and any other travel services provided by our company.
If you've already paid for your ticket in full, you might not be able to make changes. In this case, any changes could be treated as cancellations, and the cancellation fees listed earlier will apply. Generally, cancellations are not refundable unless stated otherwise.
Once your ticket is issued, the airline's policies will take over, and you'll need to follow their rules for changing dates, cancellations, and refunds.
If you need to cancel your flight or reservation for any reason, both the airline's cancellation policy and our company's terms will apply. These policies can vary depending on the airline, fare type, or travel season. For example, if your e-ticket hasn't been issued, the minimum cancellation fee is £100 per reservation per person (but this can vary, so check with your agent).
For issued tickets, the airline's cancellation policy will be in effect, and they will determine and deduct the cancellation charges. Please check with your agent for details.
Any remaining balance will be refunded within 8 to 12 weeks after the cancellation, provided we receive it from the airline in a timely manner. Refunds are usually processed back to the original payment method unless specified otherwise.
If you cancel after paying the full balance for your ticket before it’s issued, the refund process can take about 4 to 8 working weeks.
Airline Cancellations:
If the airline cancels a flight before departure or return, you may need to provide certain documents or letters from the airline. You'll also need to provide a scan or copy of your ticket, or any other evidence requested by your agent.
Refund claims for airline cancellations must be submitted within 48 days to 7 days from the cancellation date. Claims or evidence submitted after this period will not be processed.
Holiday Package Cancellation:
If you cancel your hotel, accommodation, or package, whether due to a request, late cancellation, or no-show, the cancellation charges will depend on the supplier’s terms and conditions, which can vary.
Generally, package or hotel bookings are considered non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. Deposits paid for these bookings are also non-refundable, although in some cases, the agent might adjust the deposit for future bookings if this is confirmed in writing.
Once your holiday has started, no refunds will be given for any unused parts of your trip. Cancellation will be effective from the day we receive written confirmation of your request.
Packages are non-transferable. If you are dissatisfied with your travel arrangements after arriving at your destination or after making a purchase, and you choose to book or transfer to other accommodations or services, the agency will not cover any additional costs or damages.
To avoid issues, confirm all your travel arrangements with our agents at least 48 hours before departure. If you do not reconfirm, the agency is not responsible for any changes or delays.
The agency is not liable for the standards or actions of any parties involved in your trip once the purchase is complete.
Financial Protection:
When you purchase an ATOL-protected flight or holiday from us, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This certificate details what is financially protected and how to seek assistance if something goes wrong.
If we or the suppliers listed on your ATOL Certificate cannot provide the services due to insolvency, another ATOL holder might step in to offer the services or a suitable alternative at no extra cost to you. You agree to work with this alternative ATOL holder and settle any outstanding payments with them. If no alternative ATOL holder can be found, you may make a claim under the ATOL scheme or through your credit card issuer if applicable.
If neither we nor the suppliers can provide the services due to insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may offer compensation or assistance under the ATOL scheme. In return, you must assign any claims related to the non-provision of services to the Trustees. These claims might also be transferred to another entity if they cover the amounts you claimed under the ATOL scheme.
If You Terminate the Booking Agreement:
Once you’ve accepted your flight itinerary and confirmed it via email, you cannot cancel the agreement if we have already issued your ticket and you have paid the full balance. If you choose to terminate the agreement after this point, InboxTickets reserves the right to take legal action. This could involve suing for a minimum of £10,000 or more, depending on the circumstances. This policy applies only to bookings made with an installment payment plan.
Travel Booking Conditions:
These conditions include certain exclusions and limits on liability. If any part of these conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will still apply. Any disputes will be resolved under English law, and English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to Travel Arrangements by Our Suppliers:
“Force Majeure” refers to circumstances that are unusual or unforeseeable and beyond the control of InboxTickets Travel & Tours. This includes events like war, political unrest, natural disasters, terrorist activity, or technical problems with transportation. These situations are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for their consequences.
Travel Documents:
You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, travel insurance, and health certificates. InboxTickets is not liable for any delays or expenses caused by issues with your documents. For example, if you’re traveling to Canada via the USA, you’ll need a US visa even if you’re not stopping in the USA. If you lose, destroy, or have your ticket stolen and we agree to reissue it, any associated charges will be your responsibility.
A "Major Change" includes:
A significant change in departure or return times: This means your departure or return time is altered by 12 hours or more from the originally scheduled time.
A change in the UK departure airport: This does not include changes between London airports but involves a shift to a different airport in the UK.
A downgrade in accommodation: If your hotel or apartment is changed to one with a lower rating or quality.
A major change in the resort area: If the location of your holiday resort changes significantly.
A significant price increase: If the cost of your holiday goes up by a substantial amount.
False Scam Accusation:
If a client falsely accuses InboxTickets Ltd of scamming them, we reserve the right to take legal action. We may also charge for any additional costs we incur due to such accusations. These costs can include lost deposits from new clients, delayed installment payments from existing clients, and expired flight fares that prevent us from paying our travel service providers.
Clients should expect to wait about 3-6 working weeks to receive their refund, as stated in our terms. If a client makes a false accusation before this period is up and files a complaint with their bank, we will deduct any costs incurred from the refund amount. We will then refund the remaining balance to the client.
